Dr Ahuja is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He completed his Medical School from Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla, India . He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine NY, and fellowship in Nephrology from Long Island hospital , NY in 1996. He was a full time Nephrology faculty at UTMB, Galveston, from 1996-2005 and was Nephrology Fellowhip Program director from 2000-2005.
He started private practice at Center for Hypertension and Kidney care in 2005, at Webster and Texas city. He has authored over 50 peer reviewed publications and has served as a reviewer for all major nephrology journal publications. His major interests our in Chronic Kidney disease , Glomerular diseases, Diabetic nephropathy, viral associated renal diseases, renal stones, dialysis and electrolyte disorders .
He has affiliations with all the hospitals in Texas city and Webster. He enjoys teaching, reading and running.

Joshina Dass
Joshina Dass is a Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioner and is licensed by the state of Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, New Delhi, India in 2009. She worked as a registered nurse for 8 years in various dialysis clinics and became a Certified Hemodialysis Nurse from Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing Technology (BONENT) in 2016. Following her undergraduate degree, she earned a Master of Science from Texas Women’s University in 2017 and was board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner the same year. With her background in dialysis, she wanted to focus on Nephrology and joined Center for hypertension and Kidney care in 2017. She is committed to clinical excellence in Nephrology and went on to become Certified Nephrology Nursing-NP from Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission in 2021 securing highest scores in certifying examination. Joshina is motivated to provide, passionate, friendly and conscientious and excellent care to her patients . Apart from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, and listening to music.
